Bollywood stars who married before attaining stardom

Bollywood stars are always under tight scrutiny for every move and action they take. Be it dinner dates, outings with friends, a selfie with somebody or any small incident. Every single thing is noted and spoken about. So when it comes to their marriages, the entire paparrazi is all out capturing their special moments. But not all stars are open to the idea of letting the world know about their marriage. Some stars married pretty early, in fact much before they attained stardom. So let’s have a look at the Bollywood stars who got married way before they were famous.

Shah Rukh Khan married his girlfriend Gauri Chibber in 1991 and got recognition in 1992 with ‘Deewana’ which earned him the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award.

The perfectionist, Aamir Khan worked as a child actor before entering as a male lead in the film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ in 1988. He married girl next door Reena Dutta in the year 1986 and has two children with her. They got divorced later on and today he is married to director wife Kiran Rao and also has a son with her.

Saif Ali Khan married Amrita Singh in 1991, before starting his innings in Bollywood. His first movie was ‘Aashiq Awara’ that released in the year 1993. Although, the two divorced on a bitter note and Saif is currently married to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, he married actress Amrita before attaining success.

Anil Kapoor married Sunita Kapoor in 1984. His first release was in the year 1979 ‘Hamare Tumhare’, but he only earned recognition in the year 1984. They have two daughters and a son.

Model turned actor Arjun Rampal entered films in the year 2001 with ‘Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’, but he was already married. He married Miss India and supermodel Mehr Jessia in the year 1998 and has two wonderful girls.

The light-eyed beauty Dimple Kapadia entered films as a married lady. She married actor Rajesh Khanna in 1973 and six months after marriage, her debut flick ‘Bobby’ released and then there was no looking back.

Actor Shashi Kapoor entered filmdom in 1961 with ‘Dharamputra’. He had married English actress Jennifer Kendal in 1958, three years before entering films.
